Fishermen Baptist Church<\/em> started in March 1989 under Founder\/Pastor Wayne Mund at the facilities of Aquila Seafood in Bon Secour, Alabama (see the first Sunday invite below). Soon the church purchased a vacated net shop on the banks of the Bon Secour River and converted into a church building. Fitting as once a place of mending nets, God brought forth a work of mending lives.<\/p>\n

Pastor Mund led the church until January 2018 when he stepped down to concentrate on Fishers of Men Ministries<\/em>. Brother Shawn Major served in the church as assistant pastor and co-pastor since 2006 and the assumed the pastorate in January 2018.<\/p>\n

The heart of FBC has been and continues to be reaching the lost both \u201cAround the Corner and Around the World\u201d.<\/p>\n
