Pastoral Staff

Fishermen Baptist Church is blessed to have a wonderful staff.  We thank the Lord for the wonderful laborers He has given us.

Shawn Major, Pastor

Shawn & Larrica Major are from Bay Minette, AL.  It was on a Sunday in 1989 that they attended a church in Bay Minette.  On Thursday of that week, a soul-winner team from that church knocked on that door.  The gospel was presented and Shawn and Larrica trusted Christ as their Savior.  Within a few months, Shawn surrendered to the call to preach the gospel.

After serving in two previous churches, he accepted the call to be the Assistant Pastor at Fishermen in 2006.  Upon Pastor Wayne Mund’s retiring in January 2018, Shawn assumed the role of Pastor.
